Heritage Hill is a charming Bed & Breakfast centrally located in Waynesboro, Virginia. Located just 6 miles from where Skyline Drive connects with the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail, the 4,300 sq. ft colonial style house is situated perfectly on 7.7 acres.
Offering expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby rolling pastures our private acreage is located just inside the city limits, allowing easy access to the lovely town of Waynesboro all while enjoying a rural setting in the country at the same time.
Such a wonderful B&B. Dana & Scott were absolute gracious and accommodating hosts. We really enjoyed hanging around the fire pit after dinner and spending time with the pets. (Two sweet dogs & 3 friendly cats. - this may have been the highlight of my trip, but I’m a huge animal lover. For those of you who aren’t, don’t worry - they are kept out of the house. In fact if we didn’t see them outside and ask to pet them, we never would have known.)
Dana cooks an outstanding breakfast too. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to revisit!
We had a phenomenal stay at the Heritage Hill Bed and Breakfast!! This was my first B&B experience and Dana and Scott set the bar incredibly high. The charming, historical home was quiet, relaxing, and stunning on the inside and outside. The Blue Room was clean and homey and full of thoughtful amenities. Each morning, Dana made the most delicious breakfast and we were able to chat with Dana & Scott about the history of the home and all the activities in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying at Heritage Hill and cannot wait to visit again.
Heritage Hill B&B’s location was ideal for my day in Shenandoah NP. The Blue Room was so comfortable, Dana’s recommendations on where to have dinner were spot on, her communication and personal touches (fresh baked cookies!) were top-notch, and breakfast was delicious! I would absolutely recommend staying at Heritage Hill B&B to friends!

This B & B is world class! Dana greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The historic house is beautiful, well decorated, and it was sparking clean. Dana provided everything we needed and more. Breakfast was amazing with homemade biscuits, muffins, and quiche. Highly recommend this B & B!
Heritage Hill was a wonderful weekend getaway. The breakfasts were custom to our likes and absolutely delicious! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Dana has a Keurig, microwave and refrigerator in the common areas to use if you don’t want to go out. It is a beautiful home and the room and all the little touches made this a perfect place to get away.
Picturesque home with fabulous, personal hosts! The accommodations were perfect, the home quiet, the dogs just as sweet as could be, and our hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was AMAZING! We thoroughly enjoyed the personalized touches that made this stay so memorable, from freshly made cookies, lots of coffee/tea/hot chocolate and snacks, and sending us home with fresh eggs varying in color for our kids to enjoy! We've already been sharing our delight with our stay and hope to be back again!
Dana was an absolutely amazing host. The house is gorgeous and the Blue Room was cute. Everything was clean and COVID guidelines were followed to the T. She gave us great tips about Waynesboro and made sure our stay with her was pleasant. Breakfast and coffee was delivered on trays to our room. For as amazing as the establishment was, the breakfast was the star. Biscuits and gravy, fresh eggs, fruit, and an absolutely wonderful cinnamon Bundt cake. We look forward to coming back out to stay with her whenever we have a hankering to hike in Shenandoah National Park and explore all the breweries/wineries in the area!
We began our search for a place in 2016 when the last of our four children went off to college, and the moment we saw this beautiful house we knew right away it was the one for us. Not only did we fall in love with the house, we truly love everything about living here in the valley!
It’s a beautiful place to call home. We’ve spent the last few years renewing and remodeling to make the house more comfortable for our guests, and we have continued plans for the future as well.
