Not to mention the incredible breakfast they served!! The house sits about 30 mins from some breweries we visited (Bold Rock & Devil's Backbone) and about 20 mins from Veritas Vineyard and Winery where we also spent some time!

The bed in the blue room is incredibly comfortable! Just note that the bed is very high off of the ground! Dana and Scott had a small step stool in the room next to the bed for this reason which I thought was a great touch.

I would definitely recommend this stay 🙂 Make sure you save some time for the awesome rope swing with beautiful views out front!

  Dana was SO accommodating! The Blue Room at the Heritage Hill B&B was the perfect way to end our trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The B&B was only a... read more short drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive to enter Shenandoah National Park. Before we even arrived Dana communicated with us about breakfast options. When we arrived Dana had a welcome treat for the both of us, if you're looking for the best chocolate chip cookie it resides at the Heritage Hill B&B!

The Blue Room was so thoughtfully decorated and provided everything we could have possibly needed! And the bathroom, the remodeled and heated floors were such a treat, we're currently planning how we can put heated floors in our bathroom.

Dana was so kind to coordinate when breakfast would be ready the next day as well as giving us some nearby favorite restaurants for dinner.

Breakfast the next morning was FANTASTIC! The attention to detail with the table spread and breakfast was not missed and breakfast was delicious! Unfortunately we only had a short time to talk with Dana and Scott and their sweet pups after breakfast before we had to be back on our way!

We hope we can come back and stay again! If you're in the area, or even have to drive a little out of the way, do stop and stay, you won't regret it!
