Heritage Hill is a charming Bed & Breakfast centrally located in Waynesboro, Virginia. Located just 6 miles from where Skyline Drive connects with the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail, the 4,300 sq. ft colonial style house is situated perfectly on 7.7 acres.
Offering expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby rolling pastures our private acreage is located just inside the city limits, allowing easy access to the lovely town of Waynesboro all while enjoying a rural setting in the country at the same time.
Our hosts were very attentive, kind and thoughtful. The home was beautiful and so peaceful. The location is perfect when visiting Shenandoah National Park. Dana's breakfast is superb and she gave us treats to take with us which we enjoyed very much. Just nice people in a beautiful location.
Dana was an absolutely amazing host. The house is gorgeous and the Blue Room was cute. Everything was clean and COVID guidelines were followed to the T. She gave us great tips about Waynesboro and made sure our stay with her was pleasant. Breakfast and coffee was delivered on trays to our room. For as amazing as the establishment was, the breakfast was the star. Biscuits and gravy, fresh eggs, fruit, and an absolutely wonderful cinnamon Bundt cake. We look forward to coming back out to stay with her whenever we have a hankering to hike in Shenandoah National Park and explore all the breweries/wineries in the area!
This was my first bed and breakfast experience and will not be my last. Dana and Scott were incredibly hosts. Heritage Hill B&B is the perfect VA foliage getaway. From fresh brewed coffee in the morning and a fresh gourmet breakfast each day to the gorgeous property including patio with firepit, front porch rocking chairs, and a beautiful front tree with a swing... this trip was magical. Our room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The bed is very comfy. Dana and Scott are helpful and go out of their way to accommodate their guests. I cannot wait to stay here again and bring my mom and sisters next year.
There were a lot of positives about our stay. The location was perfect as we were close to Skyline Drive and hiking, yet a short drive to dinner in Staunton or Waynesboro. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and the en-suite bathroom was lovely. Breakfast was yummy, there was a convenient refrigerator and just outside our door, and our hosts were warm and welcoming without being intrusive. Overall, a 5 star experience!
We began our search for a place in 2016 when the last of our four children went off to college, and the moment we saw this beautiful house we knew right away it was the one for us. Not only did we fall in love with the house, we truly love everything about living here in the valley!
It’s a beautiful place to call home. We’ve spent the last few years renewing and remodeling to make the house more comfortable for our guests, and we have continued plans for the future as well.
