Heritage Hill is a charming Bed & Breakfast centrally located in Waynesboro, Virginia. Located just 6 miles from where Skyline Drive connects with the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail, the 4,300 sq. ft colonial style house is situated perfectly on 7.7 acres.
Offering expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby rolling pastures our private acreage is located just inside the city limits, allowing easy access to the lovely town of Waynesboro all while enjoying a rural setting in the country at the same time.
There were a lot of positives about our stay. The location was perfect as we were close to Skyline Drive and hiking, yet a short drive to dinner in Staunton or Waynesboro. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and the en-suite bathroom was lovely. Breakfast was yummy, there was a convenient refrigerator and just outside our door, and our hosts were warm and welcoming without being intrusive. Overall, a 5 star experience!
Picturesque home with fabulous, personal hosts! The accommodations were perfect, the home quiet, the dogs just as sweet as could be, and our hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was AMAZING! We thoroughly enjoyed the personalized touches that made this stay so memorable, from freshly made cookies, lots of coffee/tea/hot chocolate and snacks, and sending us home with fresh eggs varying in color for our kids to enjoy! We've already been sharing our delight with our stay and hope to be back again!
This is most definitely one of the best Airbnb's my wife and I have ever stayed. As amazing as the pictures make the place seem, you somehow the place is more spectacular in person. All the reviews about the amazing breakfast are entirely accurate. There's so much history to the house as well, so for all the history buffs, this is a place you need to experience as well. Highly recommended!
We had a phenomenal stay at the Heritage Hill Bed and Breakfast!! This was my first B&B experience and Dana and Scott set the bar incredibly high. The charming, historical home was quiet, relaxing, and stunning on the inside and outside. The Blue Room was clean and homey and full of thoughtful amenities. Each morning, Dana made the most delicious breakfast and we were able to chat with Dana & Scott about the history of the home and all the activities in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying at Heritage Hill and cannot wait to visit again.
This is my second time staying in Dana & Scott’s beautiful historic home in Waynesboro and we will certainly return again. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast with such wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and will leave you feeling more than satisfied. Dana did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable taking a weekend trip during the time of Covid. She went the extra mile with sanitizing commonly used areas of the home and masking. We were able to socially distance while feeling more than relaxed and comfortable in Dana’s home. We look forward to a return trip!
Our hosts were very attentive, kind and thoughtful. The home was beautiful and so peaceful. The location is perfect when visiting Shenandoah National Park. Dana's breakfast is superb and she gave us treats to take with us which we enjoyed very much. Just nice people in a beautiful location.
We began our search for a place in 2016 when the last of our four children went off to college, and the moment we saw this beautiful house we knew right away it was the one for us. Not only did we fall in love with the house, we truly love everything about living here in the valley!
It’s a beautiful place to call home. We’ve spent the last few years renewing and remodeling to make the house more comfortable for our guests, and we have continued plans for the future as well.
